The Outside Lands project is my first foray into painting on wood with ball point pen and colored in watercolor. the works spanned many more pieces than depicted here and all except a handful were sold into private collection to art collectors from around the world. This series hangs in homes and establishments across the country as well as in Australia, England, South Africa, and France. I will continue this series upon commission, and when I have the studio space to increase the size of my panels to what i see as the next level in my work.
All separations in the wood are where the painting wraps around the panel so the work can be viewed from an angle from the top or bottom.
